Chrysalis CustomMLP Queen Chrysalis Custom Doll

As one of my most challenging projects thus far, I now present my Chrysalis brushable prototype. She was made from a Celestia base, which I sculpted and sanded. The holes in her legs are drilled and sanded. The wings are made out of a clear sheet plastic that I ended up having to paint over completely. Her hair is petroleum nylon from RetroDollUS, which is quite soft compared to other nylon I have worked with.

For painting, I just used regular acrylics. This may have made it a pain to create that gradient effect on her cloth and eyes, but it certainly is there. She is sealed with Testor's dullcote and Tamiya gloss on the eyes to make them shine. I also remembered to make her a crown, unlike Luna and Cadence.
